Just checked out the map for ’Allerdale - Dean’
Village Branthwaite
Actual max speed approx 700kb/s - map shows current 15-20MB/s !
Subtle difference.
We work off the workington Exchange so too far away

I’ve made the following changes to the spreadsheet:-
* The latest OS Opendata have for the parish boundaries looks in some cases to be way out of date, so I’ve added a new parish column which has the current parish name. As some parishes will show more than once as the current parish is a merger of others (example Staveley with Ings), so a…[Read more]

@jimsavege Anything that is part of the heirachy can easily be included in the google spreadsheet, the hard bit is getting to know who the Hub CoOrdinators (does anyone know) area as well as the Champions. Had a quick lookup about Hubs on the CCC site, it seems to imply a parish will have a hub coordinator and that a group of them (parishes) will…[Read more]

@jamesnunn I had thought of including a form but I have seen a mini buzz at being able to update a google spreadsheet directly

I’ve had a good think and not come up a easy way to show both sets of data on the same map. An option maybe to have two maps side by side and zoom in on both to get an comparison

Hi guys
I have only recently been able to get another look at the discussions on here. I created the maps found in the group which are the subject of much blasting. The sources are described in the titles, but I’ll reiterate here to clear things up a little.
All the data I used to create the maps were supplied by Louis Moseley in a…[Read more]
can you point us at the original forms for collecting the extra data please ?
James - thanks for the efforts here - this is very useful. I am sure forum members will work to build on and develop what you have done here.

there’s where I originally posted the links. I think the way there’s a forum AND a comments column for a group means that one gets neglected, in this case the forum. maybe one of the site admins could put a permalink for things like this somewhere more accessible.

Great stuff, well done. I know last year we wanted a map with all of this on but nobody has managed to do it yet, so well done for cracking it. Is there a way you could overlay it over the BDUK data on a previous post on this blog? Then we can see if the worst areas have champions? Possibly they have such limited access they may not even know of…[Read more]
