Dear members,
We have recently been alerted to another scam which has been ‘doing the rounds’ as recently as Thursday. One of our members received a telephone call from a company called 24/7 PC Care, who told her that she had a virus on her PC. If you receive a telephone call like this, please be aware that this is a scam. The caller wants to get access to your PC so that they can install viruses and then try to charge you for their removal. You can read more about this scam here.
