Public Group active 1 year, 2 months ago agoThis group is interested in connecting residents of Crosby Ravensworth Parish and surrounding villages too (if they want) to the best broadband services available. Preferably via a Community Interest Company model - we’d like to improve local access to mobile services simultaneously as this would facilitate first responders activities (a matter of Life & Death importance) and stimulate business and social interactivity.

Hello! Just joined after reading Rory’s mail-out. I think this is the group I belong to, geographically speaking - I am between Sleagill and Newby.
512kb/s (downstream) is about as good as it gets here, being on a long local loop from the Morland exchange. FTTH or wireless are the only likely solutions that I can see for faster access here and…[Read more]
