James, thanks for this. A grand total of two green dots in our huge parish (Matterdale). I will find out exactly where they are (not in the middle of fields!) and let you have grid references.

How do you want us to map demand? I’ve been trying to put a chunk of OS Open Space on my microsite and I’ve got an API code and a page of javascript. But no map. Please can someone techie help me? Is there a simpler way that you’d like everyone to use?

Yes, Charles, thank-you. It was very helpful and easy to follow as you can see on http://matterdale.broadband.com. Picasa has a handy ’crop’ option which you can customise to the ratio 74:1 and choose a ’slice’ of photo.
