Sorry Chris - you’re right of course. What I meant was that I think companies such as Smallworld ought now to be more receptive to getting on and providing the services people want.

Dave - it is worth thinking about CALC and the parish network - and from that the Hub coordinators - as well as the broadband champions. There are a number of different groups out there working on this agenda.

Chris - there are 5 bidders on each lot and we are at the start of the process. Putting effort into being very clear about community needs and expectations is very useful for us all across Cumbria and I am sure will help the process overall.
